Neha Kakkar is an Indian Singer, judge and a TV personality. She is one of the most famous singer from India. She has given a lot of hit songs like Aankh Maarey, Dilbar.
Neha Kakkar is the daughter of Rishikesh Kakkar and Niti Kakkar. She is the younger sister of Sonu Kakkar and Tony Kakkar.
She married Rohanpreet Singh in October 2020.
Early Life of Neha Kakkar
Neha was born on 6 June 1988 in Rishikesh, a city in Uttarakhand. Her early life was full of struggles. Her father was a samosa seller outside a college and her mother was a homemaker. Little did they know, that their children are going to be the top music artists in the future. Neha started singing bhajans in the temples or religious events from her very early age. Later She participated in the Indian Idol, a music reality show. She was selected in the auditions but got eliminated and couldn’t make to the top 3.
Early Success and Rise to Fame
After the elimination from the Indian Idol, she moved to Mumbai with brother Tony Kakkar, with an eye to launch and flourish on the scenes. But after early setbacks, she launched her debut album Neha The Rockstar with Meet Bros.
During these days, she done a jingle for Kotak named Mera jaisa koi Meri jindgi me Aae. After that, she got her first song Hai Rama from the movie Meerabai Not Out. Neha also acted in the movie Isi Life Main, she played the role of a college student.
Her breakthrough song was Second Hand Jawani from the movie Cocktail. The song received tremendous response. She also did the Shahrukh Khan Anthem which was widely appreciated and put her in the limelight.
Chartbusters and Top Artist
She sang Botal Khol, Dhating Nach and Jaddo ki Jhappi after Cocktail success. All these songs were well received. She was getting popular and receiving party and mashup songs which suits her voice.
She collaborated with Yo Yo Honey Singh for the song track in the movie Yaariyan, Sunny Sunny was the biggest track of her life and the beautiful song was the chartbuster and the common song in every party and event that year. Manali Trance, her second collaboration with Honey Singh was even bigger hit.
She sang the wedding anthem London Thumkda which was the best song of the year with Amit Trivedi for the movie Tanu Weds Manu. After that she never looked back and give back to back chartbusters like Badri Ki Dulhania, Main Tera Boyfriend, Cheez Badi, Aankh Maarey, Dheeme Dheeme and many more songs.
